Topic: General Support / Lost my review...again :-(

I have only done it about 3 times in the about year and a half I’ve been here. You just have to really pay attention to what page you are on when you go to publish. Make sure you hit preview/publish on the create page and then publish again on the next page. And one other tip…if you are not ready to publish the review yet, make sure you hit save as draft on the create page! I, along with others, have lost reviews because we don’t save them and navigate to another page too.

HI Kakoa: I guess that happened to me too, as I wrote one like on Thursday or Friday and I thought well maybe it has to be “approved” or something before it shows up but I don’t know what I did but mine has not showed up either, RATS!! I guess I get to do it again too, oh well does this happen often??

Hi Lizz! Welcome to the community! I’m glad you are on the forums reading the guides…a lot of people skip over those and end up getting confused. It’s a great idea to say hi like you did too, you’ll meet a lot of people on the forums and make some great friends!

As for your status…that is just a place where you can type in something about what you’re doing, how you’re feeling, or just whatever you want to say at the moment. If you look at other people’s profiles you will see the random things they have for theirs. You can change it as often as you want or you can just leave it blank. It won’t hurt your Shared Score (SS) in any way.

If you have any other questions don’t hesitate to ask. We’re all here to help each other as much as we can. :-)

This is my first time here and I just wanted to say hello to everyone. I have only two reviews up so far. I am new here and trying to learn what I can about how to do things here. I am reading on the “guide” for SR, and other forum discussions and finding lots of answers to my many questions.
Being as I am new, please look over my “dummy-ness” until I become as good as you all seem to be.

Question for someone, please? On my page where it says “Status” Lizzylou hasn’t updated her status”, What is this and what do I do?

You can report these from within the review (bottom left of the screen) – the reporting system sometimes gets glitches, if that happens just PM one of the guys and they will look into it. You aren’t a “tattle” :) you are just ensuring the integrity of the site continues and that’s a good thing ;) Keep up the great work!

Is there a method in place for bringing reviews to staff attention that are obviously copied from the manufacturer’s web site? I hate to be a “tattle” but it kind of ruins it for those of us who actually spend time on these things!

I left a message in my status box, but I wanted to post here also. I have not been online for a time. My husband’s father passed unexpectedly on Christmas Eve. He was making his morning coffee and collapsed. He suffered from diabetes, mild emphysema, and pancreatitis but all were under good control with medication.

The entire family is still trying to process this turn of events. Christmas will never be the same.

The next weeks we will be helping mom with all the legal red tape. We also have to finish up some home improvement projects dad had started recently.

I appreciate every message I received from you all. SR has a great group of people and I’ve missed hanging out. I’ll be working on returning votes as quickly as I can.

You won’t as SR is not paying at the moment. They are catching up on some older payments and then they will start the revenue sharing program again. When they do that them you can earn money on the reviews you have written.
Right now the only way to earn money is through contests such as most votes given, most vote received and most reviews written in a month OR apply for their new program where you get paid to write articles that is soon to start.

I wanted to know that when actually do you credit a reviewer’s account with the amount earned. I mean I signed up a month ago. I have written 12 reviews and rose to 96 rank last month but haven’t seen any money earned in my account. When Can I see it? Remeber I am not asking for payment, but when can I see the money earned in my account in SR.

You don’t have to worry about your account for a short absence like this. Especially accounts with active reviews in them usually remain active for a long time, as long as there is no violation of any of our rules.

Hey everybody. Having a great holiday?
Ok the problem is that i won’t be using my account much due to travels and i need to know how long i have to be away and not use my account for you guys to deactivate. For example, if i wasn’t active using my account for a week, would you deactivate? How long do you have to be non active for your account to be not active. Last question is Can you reactivate your account? thanks
